This tax-free cash-back rebate after closing is based on $5 per every $1,000 of the home sale and/or purchase price. There is no cap on the rebate amount which means, for example, a $300,000 home sale and a $350,000 home purchase will provide you with two rebates of $1,500 and $1,750 respectively, for a total of $3,250! Cash-back rebate not available in all states. Your rebate is contingent upon typical real estate agent commission splits of 3% seller’s agent, 3% buyer’s agent. If your SimpleMove agent’s commission is less than 3% of the total transaction value, or if the agent doesn’t agree to SimpleMove’s standard real estate referral agreement, a lower SimpleMove rebate will apply.
